The update to Android Nougat 7.1.1 approach on a number of terminals Samsung.An Australian operator already try this version on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
The update to Android Nougat is available only on a handful of terminals currently(0.4% of devices in circulation in the last census). Some manufacturers however prepare this update, like Samsung which already offers a beta on the Galaxy S7 and S7edge. This version should arrive very soon more large scale.
In test among operators
Vodafone Australia has updated its planned deployment schedule indicating that version 7.1.1 of Android was undergoing testing at home on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. This means that its development is now complete and that unless the operator back to Samsung bugs, this update should be deployed very quickly.
If it pertains to the time that one operator to the other side of the world, there is nodoubt that the update will follow also on the rest of the globe. Naked purchased phones should also enjoy faster still.
Note that this update brings new features, whether aesthetic or functional. We haveactually a non-exhaustive list in our overview of the beta. One of the main changes is the screen, whose definition is now adjustable.
Next step: the 2015 flagships
Once the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge updated Android 7.1.1 Nougat then expected to hit the flagships of 2015, namely the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 + edge and Galaxy Note 5. Still, no date was given for the moment.
